our journey began on the day of creation as we know...
It was a Sunday morning, Sept 9 of 2001 and we were praising God at church. God planted an idea in my wife and I to write this book.
After discussing it on our way home, we realized that everyone is a Natural Born Givers. One way or another we help someone in some way through our lives. It’s the amount of help that really counts. When we give ourselves to help others in some way, it shows the Natural Born Giver in each of us. When I look back in my life, I can remember so many times of helping family, friends, and people I didn’t even know. I gave of myself to help others, not realizing I was born to give. Then, I found Jesus. As I got closer in God, I learned to give more of myself... in tithing and offering, in giving my time, and in loving for others as Christ taught us to do.
I challenge each and every one of you to really try help one person a month for twelve months. Each month make it a new person, and still keep in contact with the ones you have helped. And please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help and guide you each step of the way for a longer lasting relationship, with them and Christ Jesus. Keep a journal of your giving, who you've helped, how they responded, and how it blessed your life, both immediately and long term. Then when you are feeling unwanted, not needed, or just plain down, read through your journal. See where God has used you to reach out to His lambs.
We put some scriptures together to build faith in the areas of giving and offerings. There are so many books in the Bible that teach about giving. We are continually learning from them and will use them to show you what God had planned out since the beginning of time. Also, we have included the definition of give from www.dictionary.com. It amazed me when I saw how extensive this definition is.
Want more people to interact with you on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace? More readers for you blog? Or maybe you just want to spread your message to the widest audience? Here’s how I do it: Be a Natural Born Giver and give people what THEY want. So many people, blogger, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace followers come to me asking “How do I get noticed?” I tell them to do what I do… STOP trying to get and start giving. This is a sermon… it’s God's Law. You will succeed when you find out what your audience wants and give it to them. Want more Twitter, Facebook, MySpace followers? Be follower like-minded. Be seen as someone who GIVES help, support and attention to others. One great example of NATURAL BORN GIVERS is my mom and dad. They taught me the power of giving. When it came time to promote Natural Born Givers, they asked me how I could reach more people with the message. The answer GIVE MORE. So, I went to blogging and talked to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace followers and Bloggers about how they gave.
God wants us to teach you all the ways of giving. As you know, each Organization need financial help to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and we ask you to send what the Holy Spirit tells you. We are just so Blessed to be given the opportunity to help others learn the many gifts that the Lord Jesus Christ has to given to us. As we reflect on the many ways God has given since the beginning of time, and the fact that we are made in His image and likeness, we realize that we are all Natural Born Givers.
So let us tell you what we give into: number one God, and his people Israel. We welcome any Organization that will let us teach on the truth of giving, lead by the Holy Spirit, to help the people of God know the many ways of giving. To help their CEO's out, and the people of God in all walks of life. To show you how to share the Gospel with others in truth, love and spirit like the word says.

“As a man thinketh, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7
Like any talent, though, creative giving needs to be nurtured and that's where we come in. With just a little time and effort, you can help others become Natural Born Givers, like yourself.
We all should give what we have decided in our hearts to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
One way to stay centered is to count your blessings every day. Why is it important to do it every day? Because it can be too easy to fall into the habit of taking life for granted and feeling sorry for yourself when things don't go the way you had hoped. By counting your blessings, you remember just how rich you are—in spirit, in family, in friendships, in health, in career, in education, in personality, and the list goes on.
Count your blessings in the mornings. It is a very uplifting way to begin the day. After all, a new day is just one more blessing that you have to be thankful for. Try this exercise: Turn off all the noise around you, and go to a place where you can find as much solitude as possible. Close your eyes. Breath deeply and slowly. Now think about all that you have to be thankful for. Stay in this quiet state for at least five minutes. When you finish, write down everything that came to mind.
My Blessings:
1. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
2. My wife and children
3. My health, I'm alive.
4. Our home.
5. We always have food.
6. Family.
7. His church.
8. Cockatiel birds.
9. We our blessed with so much.
10. The Car.
It's a pretty good list isn't it?
Journaling assignment:
What do you consistently complain about? What aspect of your life do you choose to see the negative without balancing it by acknowledging God's blessings in the situation? What do you need to be more grateful for?
My challenge to you this week:
When you find yourself feeling down or feeling sorry for yourself, take out your "Top 10 Blessings" list. Read it and be thankful for what you do have instead of focusing on what you don't have.
